Limor Mazuz

I’m Limor Mazuz, an artist working in painting and pottery, creating in my studio in Ramat Hasharon.

The sea is a central source of inspiration in my work, through its space, light, movement and sense of calm. In my oil paintings, I also explore relationships and closeness between people: shared moments, small gestures and the connection between the figures and the landscape around them.

Alongside painting, I create pottery works in which color and imagery meet material and volume. Moving between canvas and clay allows me to express the themes that occupy me in different ways, and to move between image and object.

I seek to make room for the beauty of everyday life, in a moment by the sea, a human encounter or a small detail that catches the eye, and invite viewers to pause and find something of their own in the work.
